Rise Up My Beloved

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

To reach every Native American reservation and First Nation reserve with the gospel and a testimony of God's love and grace through the tumult of life's storms. You can play a part in reaching the 90% of Native American Indians who have yet to meet Jesus Christ in a powerful and life-changing way.

We will be hitting the road this summer to travel across the United States and Canada to not only share Sonia's testimony, but to share God's Word with the many Native American Indians who have been decimated with alcohol, drugs, and abuse. While many are missionaries to the world, the greatest needs are still in our own backyards. With your help we can do it.

BOOK SUMMARY

I needed some time alone with the Lord and to just be alone, away from everyone. I needed to calm myself down. The only solace I could find was in a washroom. In that little cubicle, totally at the end of myself, I surrendered to His will. Nothing else mattered at this point except what He wanted. Knowing I was in my Heavenly Father’s hand, I cried, “Lord by obedience I will go. Give me your words to say. Help me Lord!”

Sonia McLeod shares the miraculous story of how God delivered her from a street life of drugs, alcohol, and prostitution. Hear the heart of this woman as she takes us through a journey of faith amidst great tragedy, heartbreak, and betrayal. Cast aside by friends, family, and finally by her husband, she emerges from the ashes of ruin and rejection in the arms of her true lover, Jesus Christ.

“I was not going to give up and die,
but it
was time to RISE UP in JESUS!”

LONDON FREE PRESS REVIEW (2009):

From that desperate situation to her present life filled with love and faith, Crane’s remarkable story is revealed in her new book, Rise Up My Beloved.

WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT RISE UP MY BELOVED?

“When we read this book, we saw the awesome works of God and how He can work with the surrendered Christian. Ministry to the drug addict, alcoholic, and others in similar situations can be discouraging at times. This book has encouraged our faith.”
–Reverend Larry & Diane Browning, MI, USA

“Through her many trials, Sonia has remained a model of courage, compassion and faithfulness. She encouraged and inspired my late husband and I in carrying on our ministry to native children through Camp Living Water, a summer Bible camp. Sonia is a true trophy of God’s grace! I could not put her book down.”
– Jean Stewart, Founder, Camp Living Water Ministries, AB, Canada

“WOW! This book speaks life. It will minister to you. Reading this book has opened my eyes and set me free. Upon finishing this book I made the best decision of my life by accepting Jesus Christ. I am in awe of what He is doing with me already. I am on fire for the Lord!”
– Cheryl Mooswa, SK, Canada

“If God can do this in Sonia’s life, He can do it in others. Pray for this book. It will touch many lives.”
–Reverend Ernie & Shirley Linklater, Full Gospel Aboriginal Ministries, ON, Canada
